What is acrylic?
DR/ABS (Durable Rubber Acrylic/Acrylantril Butadine Styrene) is a very durable product that has been used in the bathroom industry for over 30 years. With its durable surface acrylic will not crack, chip, scratch easily, or peel. Acrylic is extremely durable-it is the same material football helmets and airplane windshields are made out of. It is very easy to clean and maintains its gloss for many years.
My tub and/or shower is in terrible condition. Can you still cover it up?
No. bathByus is “Not Just Another Cover Up”™ company. It is important to have a good sound backing for any liner to ensure a quality installation. Not to mention covering moldy decaying areas will not solve any problems. In situations where a liner will not work, bathBYus will install a completely new acrylic bath and/or shower system in place of your old unit after repairing any damaged areas. A new bathBYus system can be made to fit the same space as your old unit. This can be done without affecting any other areas, allowing you to keep your existing floor covering, wall treatments, and etc. The cost is more but not significant. This can still be done in just one day.
How do you get the jobs done so fast?
bathBYus uses their own certified reliable staff. They fully understand our proprietary systemized processes. On average you will be saved the expense of 40 man hours vs. traditional outdated methods over the course of a full bath remodel. What is a liner?
A liner is a custom formed sheet of acrylic manufactured to fit precisely over your existing tub, shower, and wall areas. Exact measurements will be taken of your existing areas and sent to our manufacturing partners. Our acrylic is the thickest and most durable in the industry.
What are the color and style options?

Can water get behind the liner?
No. Our installers are factory certified and professionally trained to use our “triple lock seal” technique. Basically, we seal the tub and walls utilizing 3 different methods that work together to ensure the success of the system. In the event of any failures, they are covered under the Lifetime Warranty.
What if I have a window in my tub or shower area?
bathBYus can accommodate any situation. In this case one of our attractive window trim kits will be deployed to give it a perfect finished look.
How long will a bathBYus acrylic system last?
Acrylic has an indefinite life expectancy. With proper care it will keep it’s luster indefinitely and it will not crack, chip, peel, dent or fade.
How do your products help the environment?
In the cases where our products are fitted right over your existing areas, we have no need for disposal of your tub into a landfill like most other remodeling choices. Also, with Acrylic the water used stays warm longer (up to 30% vs. cast iron) due to acrylic’s thermal properties. This helps save water and energy. As well no harsh cleaners are necessary to keep it clean thereby eliminating stress on our water filtration utilities.
