Company Story
The concept for bathBYus™ was formed by Darren Burden after having spent 20 years in the home improvement industry. The last seven of those years were spent in the relatively new industry of acrylic bath systems, as a consultant and sub-contractor, he knew things could be better. Some of the problems Darren set out to eliminate are as follows;
- Most companies specializing in acrylic bath systems offer a limited range of services and product choices. Therefore, they are unable to complete an entire project. This causes the customer desiring an acrylic bath sytem to have to go elsewhere to meet their full bathroom remodel needs.
- Most companies are franchises that are owned and operated by people with very little technical and practical understanding of the products which they sell. Their ability to meet customer needs and solve problems are limited to the franchise’s system that they represent. Not only does this translate into higher costs to you, it causes hassles due to inefficiency and misunderstanding.
- Most companies warranties are third party and/or limited to the acrylic products only. This causes countless problems when service is necessary. The he said/she said games begin and the customer is left holding the bag.
- Most companies use less than ideal installation methods. They utilize processes that undermine the integrity of their products. This is done in the name of increasing productivity and corporate profits. Many times this results in a less than ideal situation for the consumer.
As a result, of their being a need to solve the above problems, bathBYus™ was created over many months of research and careful forming of relationships with leading manufacturers of the highest quality acrylic products.
